Well, the jacket is all stitched up, and second time around, the right seams have been stitched together. All we need now are some buttons.
Today was a day of doing craft items with the children, so with D, I spent two separate hours doing knitting and cross stitch.
I was able to concentrate on J's jumper today, so have managed about 11 inches of 16 before armhole shaping on the back. I'll take a photo tomorrow to show how the self patterning yarn is knitting up. I am really looking forward to doing the front with the cable pattern.
I spent an hour doing my Clarice Cliffe cross stich. It was quite frustrating to find I had made a mistake on the tree trunk, but as I would have to undo quite a bit of stitching, I am going to work around it. Call it personalisation! Maybe I shouldn't stitch in the early hours of the morning.

thanks for visiting my blog and more so for leaving a comment :o)
Yes the falkland is lovely to spin but think the resulting yarn isn't going to work for my stole... so a bit overdying may be in order at someppoint in the future...
Your little cardigan is lovely... and is that moss stitch round the bottom, I love moss titch and it's resulting texture...
Don't worry about a litle personalisation, in all my years of cross stitching I've never compleated a project without at least one tiny mistake!
I know some women who make a 'mistake' on purpose, they say it's lucky.
The jacket is so sweet - it really is a lovely set.
LOL, I've got quite a few personalised stitched items - more often than not no one knows unless you point it out to them. :0)
what a beautiful piece! Thank you for saying hello, I look forward to following you work.
