Day 3-Needlepoint

Well, needlepoint has come to a halt, I need to get some more threads but I have done as much as I can.
I love the feel of this block. This is done in byzantine stitch with an eyelet filler row. I ran out of the medium pink here, so I will go and match to the closest Anchor or DMC thread when I can get to the shop.

On this block, I used DMC776 for the medium pink. This is florentine or bargello stich.

On this block the pink squares are basket weave stich. The gaps are filled with straight stitches overstiched with cross stitch-at least I know where I am with this stitch.
Thought you might like to see the needlepoint as it looks at the moment.

That is turning out very nice. I hope you can match the threads. I've never tried needlepoint but always think it looks so pretty.
