Lakeland Update and Thomas Kinkade

This week it was more water. Slowly but surely, it is getting deeper. The tapestry is now almost 2 inches complete all the way across. I'll be stitching on the rocks and foliage on the right hand side in the coming week. I even managed to get some time to do some more cross stitch. Most of the stitching was concentrated on the area below the bridge.
This afternoon we went and collected several pounds of cooking apples from someone advertising on Freecycle. I will have to deal with these tomorrow before I get the chance to do any stitching. There should be enough for a pie (by request) and crumbles, hopefully some jam, and maybe some will go in the freezer. I love this time of year and the fruits that are ripening.

Thomas Kinkade in COUNTED CROSS STITCH!!!!! I once did a small pineapple in four shades of blue and vowed never again to try cross stitch that wasn't printed on the fabric. My hat is off to you. The work so far is beautiful. Please post the finished piece, as I'm sure it will be spectacular when it is completed.

The Thomas Kinkade will be stunning when it is finished. He has beautiful designs. I think you are a brave woman to take it on! All those apples sound lovely. The grape vines are getting leaves on round here...which means in a few months lovely fresh grapes and rockmelons...yum! Strawberries are in season now....mmmmm

Love the colors on the needlepoint! And I've been craving apple pie. Your post has inspired me to go to the farmer's market to get some apples!
