The last installement of the Mystery Monday quilt was released, and it was with great joy that I got all the blocks together. At least, that was until I saw the photo on here.
I couldn't see it when it was on the floor, but on the photo, it is glaringly obvious-there is a mistake on the left hand side. I've just gone back to look at it and it will be staying, lol. It's a mistake in one of the blocks, not in the positioning. As this will probably go to Daniel, I don't think he will notice, especially as he is colourblind.
Over the next couple of weeks, I shall put on a couple of borders. I shall use one of the reds and the green that I have left over from making the blocks.

It looks great just as it is, the little mistakes are what makes our pieces unique! :)
I agree with Angela...I was going to type the same thing as her. :)
An Amish bit. They always made an intentionalerror because only God was perfect.
The Native American weavers always carried a thread from the center through the border to let their spirit escape.
Whatever it looks great.
it's beautiful Jane, mistake or no mistake and I am sure Daniel will treasure it.
It's really gorgeous! I would never have seen the mistake if you hadn't mentioned it. Had to search for it. Reminds of those standardized IQ tests that ask you to find the block that isn't like the others. Congrats on completing it!
It looks wonderful! I'd be happy to have it if Daniel doesn't want it! LOL
It looks good to me and I am sure it will go un-noticed.
Well, I've searched but I can't find any mistakes. I think it is fabulous, and of course your son won't be looking for anything wrong!
It looks fantastic and it took me ages to spot the mistake so I am sure you are right that Daniel will love it anyway.
