Feeling Blue

The biggest task that I needed to do while the boys were away, was to get Jonathan's quilt finished.
The top had been pieced a long , and for several months, it had been sat waiting with the backing and batting, ready for the quilting.  After the struggle with doing the free motion quilting for Daniel's, I decided on simple straight lines/

It's now quilted, bound, washed and dried, ready for use.  Not sure when it will be used yet, it's going away in the pressie cupboard.

This is such a beautiful quilt. I love the colours and the straight line quilting is the perfect choice to match those lovely squares.

Jane....you produce so much and do it so well. Did you get to see the torch by the way?

If you have to be blue, this is the way to do so. Gorgeous!
