Weekly UFO update

The thread a day on the UFO's seems to be working well, though I must make a confession. I had to catch up on three days today, but I have done my week's quota. This week I have been doing water on the Lakeland tapestry. At least now, I have gone the whole way across the canvas at the bottom. Next week I will still be stitching water, but I have some white and blue highlight areas to do. I'm looking forward to a colour change.
On the poppy cross stitch, the leaf on the right is now complete and it has grown a stalk too. The leaf on the left is progressing well, and I'll concentrate on this in the coming week. I would like to get it completed before I start stitching on the flower. It will be a real treat to change to red.

Next project I think, is to have a go at finishing the Jacob's Wool cardigan for me. Hopefully, I haven't got too much left to knit.

Little by little , it's good to see work growing isn't it, so rewarding. The way the weather is I think you'll need your wool cardigan pretty soon.!

It's inspiring to watch your progress! I actually learned continental knitting so that I could speed it up a bit after seeing how fast you work! I am new crafter and loving every minute of it. Thanks for sharing!

P.S. Do you have any good resources for learning cross-stitch? I would love to become proficient at it and also teach it to my girls. As a homeschool mom, I can even make it part of the curriculum!

They are both growing steadily. Now wondering if my HAED piece would be a suitable candidate for the one thread a day treatment. :0)

Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog, yes Misty is a sweetie.

Wow, you do work on a lot of different types of projects at once. Wish I could do that, I tend to get totally obsessed in one thing.

I've been away so I'm looking forward to catching up on your projects. How do you work so fast? Seeing you start that water makes me think I can attempt a vast area of white on a cross stitch I started 5 years ago. Thanks for the insparation.
