Another Scarf

I just love doing scarves! Haha, not really, but a request was made. Here is the beginning of D's scarf. He has chosen a lovely bright red. You don't want a headache when you are knitting this one.

I have done the same as with J's. I have cast on 50 stitches and will just keep knitting in 2x2 rib until I have knitted the two balls. This has actually come up wider than J's scarf. As there is no wool content in this yarn, it doesn't pull back as much.

I am using cheap and cheerful Sirdar Bonus Chunky 100g, 100% acrylic. In this instance, he has less expensive taste than J.

I didn't really get much time for knitting yesterday, I did this while the boys were ice skating. I probably managed to knit half a ball.

So much to do and so little time. I must get the second quilt started.

It's a lovely colour. Lets hope we don't need scarves just yet!!

Hi! The scarf looks so cosy! Must be the colour, red always makes me feel warm. Thanks for the comment too.
