The final instructions for putting together the Mystery Monday top, was to arrange any way we liked. In the end, this is what I came up with. I can't believe that I've managed to get such a striking top just using scraps.
I do have two blocks left over, so we shall have to see what happens with them once I've had some time to think about it.Next is to find some backing for the top and get it quilted and finished. I do think I have a piece big enough in my stash for the backing so it shouldn't have to wait too long before progress is made.

Neat quilt top. Love the colors.
it's lovely Jane, well done!!
You did a fabulous job, Jane.
All I can say is Wow! It looks fantastic. How about piecing the two remaining blocks into the backing?
That came out great! I was going to say you could use the extra blocks on the back, but if you have fabric that will work for that you wouldn't need to.
Looks great! I've got mine laid out ready to sew, but having seen yours, I might re-arrange mine to see what they look like in the same configuration.
Amazing. And so thrifty. A very lovely quilt top.
Just had another look at your photo, and decided to stay with my original game plan. The way my fabrics panned out, the squares wouldn't work for your layout. I've pinned mine together and will be machining them later tonight....AFTER I change my machine needle - ha ha!
