Postage Stamp Quilt Resurrected

It's been a while since these have seen the light of day, but as I am trying to get things finished up, I thought I better get on and try and make some progress.  DS2 saw the three I had made previously and said they must take ages to make.  I didn't think they did, until this week.
This is the result of two mornings work, two more blocks.  I had hoped to get a third put together, but I was one short of the strips starting with the dark fabric.  Hopefully, it will mean I can get another two blocks done more quickly the next time I sit down to do this.
That's five in total I have now, and I need 20!  Think there is a bit more work to do.

Those look like very tiny squares in the blocks.

Looks pretty, but looks tedious. I know you explained the process and it wasn't as involved as I had suspected, but still, a lot of effort. You work so quickly though. I bet those 20 will be ready in no time if you keep at it!

Wow! You made two blocks in two mornings? You keep that up you'll be done with this project in no time! Well done! :0)

Oh my, how pretty this will be when you finish. How small are those squares? Surely not the size of an actual postage stamp! That would take me forever to finish.lol

These are going to make a fabulous quilt so it'll be worth all the time and effort in the end

That looks great! When we were at the museum the other day, there was also a small quilt exhibit, and, indeed, they do look like a lot of work :)

it is coming together though....sometimes when I have a huge project like this, I just do fifteen minutes at a time...it is amazing how it all adds up....you are going to feel so good about getting it done!!!
