Catching Up

Since Sunday, I have been catching up with computer work, paperwork and the housework will have to be next, unfortunately.  In the process, it became obvious that my corner by my seat needs a clear out too.  There seems to  be an accumulation of yarn, so it's a toss up between taking it upstairs and putting it away out of sight, or knitting my way through it.

The second option seems to have won out.  Knitting is easier to do whilst watching the football and Wimbledon.

Yesterday, I finished this girl's top that had come to a standstill when the bamboo arrived.  It's gone from being neglected in the bottom of the bag to a finished item.

I have now done three ponchos and two children's tops, and there are still over two balls left of the Snowflake yarn.  Gaynor, I think it must breed in the bag.

I am going to do another of these tops to fit my friends little girl and then see how much is left.  Before that though, I am using up the remainder of the cotton.  There has to be a bit of variety in the clearing up process.

Sounds like a great way to tidy things up. That's a very cute top. The results of my cleaning are never so useful!

Wonderful job Miz Lou, you seem to work so fast. Good idea to use up that stash. I need to take my own advice. Thanks for stopping by dear on. Blessings
