Knitted Teddy

This was another fun knit, and quick to do. The body is all garter stitch and the jumper is knitted separately.  The shoulders are sewn up once fitted, so it is a permanent fixture.  The eyes and nose have been embroidered to make it child friendly.

This is a great way to use up small quantities of leftover yarn.  I think there might be another one appearing soon, I have some pink yarn that needs using up.

I like the teddy, he has a nice face too. But is the jumper not a little bit too wide? Or is it just the picture?

Good way to cull the supply of scraps. Like scrap quilts.
You must be a speedy knitter.

That is a swell looking job. Wish I had some littles to get them for. I guess I could send them to the Children's hospital.
