Tudor Bedspread-4

After the distractions of the hardanger class, I am back to the Tudor bedspread.  I really wanted to get it finished this week, but had forgotten that three days were not going to be very productive, due to travelling(taking and picking up the boys) and the workshop.  Never mind, I shall just stitch as much as I can and see where it takes me.

The section on the right, across the three middle panels, tucks down the foot of the mattress.  I am now working on the first of the pieces that goes down the side of the bed.  I shall be spending the whole day filling in the background.  If I can get that finished today, I will be delighted.

Terry took the words out of my mouth - 'it's coming along nicely'! I'm dying to see the finished product, and I bet the recipient will be thrilled to bits.
I started my Japanese Doll kit today and it looks so cute. All I have to do is attach the borders and then I'll scan it for my blog.

I really can see why one of your son's wanted you to do a full sized one for him. It is gorgeous.

I didn't realize how much more you had to do! But you've made such wonderful progress. Won't be long now til the little beauty is done.
