Once the bigger items had been cleared from the finishing shelf, I discovered this fan I had done in pergamano. It was waiting to be made into a card, and I had forgotten all about it.
I used purple card for the inside and stitched the parchment and card together with gold thread. Once that was done, I cut it to the final shape. It was such a relief to find it stood up, just as it should.

Those are the best kinds of finds, I think. It is really striking.
I was about to ask what on earth is Pergamano...then I remembered I had Google. Good old Google has all the answers - even a video tutorial! Your talents are endless, Jane - I love knowing people who will have a go at any kind of craft. Some of my friends here in Oz are like that, and I always look forward to catching up with them again to see what they have been up to. Your fan is beautiful - someone is going to be very happy to receive such a lovely card.
That's so pretty! Congratulations on another finish! :0)
Another lovely piece.
That is so cool. I don't think there is a craft you haven't tried and you master each of them.
