Topiary

No, I haven't taken up a new hobby, it's the the next in the series of stitcheries for the Lynette Anderson quilt.
With the other things that have been going on round here, this got a bit neglected, but sits patiently by my chair for when I get the urge to stitch.  One more to finish, and the next set of blocks can be made up.  Not sure if today will be the day, but all being well, sometime this week.

FUN stitching! Excellent project to have my the 'relaxing chair' for when the inspiration/motivation hits. This is one craft I never fell in love with, but enjoy admiring other's work; my mother always stitched until her eyesight became too poor.

Do you have a plan for it? Other blocks for a wallhanging?

Very nice. We got the rain I wanted but it was in the form of a bad storm.

I would not have been remotely surprised, given your many talents, if you had taken up topiary! These are, as always, beautiful.

That is lovely, Jane. Your stitching is so neat. I did a couple of hours embroidery yesterday at the Guild, surprising myself, because I'd almost given up hand stitching due to the arthritis. But the new manager at our health food shop put me onto a new Omega 3 Fish Oil product, and after two weeks of it, my aches and pains have all but cleared up! So I am returning to my stitching, but only an hour or so a day, in case I overdo it!
