Alla Turca Part One x 2

Today seemed to be one of those days when I should have just given up stitching and gone and done something else. Everything I stitched this afternoon had to be frogged, so my early finish didn't materialise.

Despite the frog, I persevered and finally finished Alla Turca Part One for the second time. This time it is on 18 count aida using one strand of DMC 522, so had a completely different feel to the first one. This certainly helped it not become boring the second time around. Part two is released next month so this can go away for a couple of weeks.

I have also done a little bit of the back of D's jumper, but not much. I'll get the opportunity to work on it a bit more tomorrow as the boys have ice skating.

For all the frogging problems - the stitching looks good - like the shade of green.

That's going to be a very pretty piece. Hope your next session with it takes 1/2 the time!

I understand what you feel... Sometimes I have those days when I am trying to make a card...
