Skill Builder Sampler-Bow Ties

This was the first time I've done bow ties, and although triangles were involved, it wasn't too complicated to do.
I did play around with the blocks for a few minutes to test out the different combinations, but this was what I preferred for a single block.

When I first started out piecing blocks, I wouldn't have get the little triangles from the corners, but I double sewed those seams and have eight one inch HST's.  What I am going to do with them, I don't know yet, but I am sure I will find something eventually.

Your block looks great! I think that layout is one of my favorites for that pattern. And good for you keeping your little HSTs! Make them into a pincushion! :0)

I am planning to do my bow ties block tomorrow, and I'm really looking forward to mastering this one, after all the messing around I had with the previous block. This one does look easier.

Your piecing is amazing!!! Just so crisp.
I have no doubt you'll find something amazing to do with the leftovers.
