Monster Softies

A few weeks ago, I bought a magazine, Homestyle Sewing.  It's the first time I've read it, but it does have some lovely projects in it.  There was a kit with the magazine to make a Monster Softie, inspiration coming from Gemma Jones.

I used the materials provided and came up with my own, as yet nameless, softie.  I added some felt, ribbon and some wool from my leftovers.

 In retrospect, I think I would have put the skirt higher up.

Daniel spotted her straight away, and has already put his order in for his own monster.  He wasn't impressed with me making a "girl".  I shall have to look and see if I can make a more masculine model.
