For someone that didn't think they had a lot of red, these scraps seem to be going a very long way. I got a table topper made yesterday, all it needs is some binding. I used a piece of red gingham for the backing.
Even with this done, there are still more scraps. At the moment, they are laid out ready for piecing. There will definitely be a mat for the cats dishes, but then I am undecided. I'll either have two mug rugs or a small table topper. I'll just have to see what happens when they get to the sewing machine.

Perfect. I am sure the carnivorous plants will love their new home make-over lol
Way to work the red!!!
LOL at your comment, Stitcheranon!
Jane, you inspire me in so many ways, and looking at this has given me ideas for some of my own stash :-)
I like the way the scraps talk to you at the sewing machine. And it is always best to cater to the needs of carnivorous plants!
Sounds like Alice in Wonderland at your house. The Red Queen would be proud of you!
I like the mix of patterns you've chosen. They work well together.
You're doing a great job of using up your reds! :0)
That's lovely! I particularly like the red squiggly one next to the more geometric shapes - beautiful :)
Like the red . Hope the cats and boys appreciate your work.
I know what you mean. I didn't think I had alot of red, but it keeps peeking out of places I've hidden it begging to be used up. Your projects are looking great! Have fun with the red!
This looks great. I know exactly what you mean about the scraps, what looks like very few often ends up going a long way.
