Friday Night Sew In

Friday Night Sew In was spent doing some relaxing cross stitch, I didn't have enough energy left to do anything else.
It's quite strange seeing a before and after picture of the evening's works, but great to see the progress made.

We had snow overnight, and it hasn't yet stopped this morning.  I'm thinking it will be the perfect opportunity to get some sewing machine time in.

Wow, you managed to get a lot done in just one evening. I'm back working on my Tigers again. There are so many colour changes it takes and age to show any kind of progress. We've got rain here today so aside from a trip to the opticians in a minute I plan to stay in and stitch too.

You did a great job. Sounds like good weather for sewing. It is hot and humid here....also good craft weather. lol

More snow? It's almost spring, it's almost spring...perhaps you should stitch that as a mantra.

Love your project!

That is a beautiful project, Jane. I don't know if I would call it relaxing though - it looks quite complex to me!

Beautiful! Your work is lovely. And, if you did all of that in one sew in you had more energy than you thought.

You do such beautiful handwork! I love the roses.
We're going to get more snow on Sunday and Monday, too. I agree - it's perfect weather to stay in and work on our crafts.
