Alla Turca Part IX

I am on a roll, and after nine months Alla Turca is finished. This was part IX, and for some reason, the nearer I got to the end, the longer it seemed to take.
Here is the complete design. This has now gone into another pile, )the pile that is stitched but waiting to be finished), until I decide what to do with it. Hopefully, it won't have to wait too long.
The next task is to work my way through this box.

It is full of WIP's, patterns of things in the pipeline and things that need rehoming. It is a varied bunch-knitting, crochet, quilting, sewing, embroidery and cross stitch. I am going to see if it can be reduced enough to dispose of the box by the end of the year. Mmmm, think I'd better get busy.

With your speedy fingers, you'll have that box emptied and turned into greatness in no time!

Oh wow, Jane - that is utterly fantastic. You are always so quick to leave complimentary comments on my work, but in comparison to yours, mine is the work of a 12 year old! I really doubt if I would have the patience to do another large project after the Indian I finished after 20 years...

Talking about box... I have the same one with some sewing and cross stitching. Also planning on finishing them! :)

Alla Turka looks fantastic. I find the same about getting near the end of a project. I think sometimes we just get sick of looking at it! Good luck with your box.

WTG on the HD - looks wonderful. But I will so miss those updates. I'd wish you Luck on achieving your goal but seriously doubt you'll need it - you'll soon have everything completed & the box empty. Going to enjoy seeing what comes out of it. :0)

This is beautiful and deserves to be framed/mounted and out on display. You'll soon get through that box as the nights are drawing in.
