Both sides of the bag are now complete and have been joined together.
I'm really quite pleased with the join, it doesn't look as if this will be coming apart any time soon. The two sides were joined using double crochet, and it beats sewing up.

I now have to get some handles for this. I've already seen some and they are quite reasonably priced.
I have already done the crochet part of my next project, but I need to get some decent photos before I can show you.
I am doing a crochet hook roll and the outer cover is complete. Hopefully, the inside can be done later this week.

lovely work Jane, and you can come round for lessons anytime, just don't mind the mess!!
You're racing along with this project.
I have to tell you I am enjoying seeing your crochet. I was at the store the other day, found some Lion Suede on sale...and decided to make myself a shawl for this fall. Thanks for the inspiration...
Very nice! I can't wait to see it with handles! :0)
Looking lovely - can't wait to see this complete. :0)
Lovely little bag.... I so can't crochet anymore.... not done it in years. I actually have a full bed sized afghan already crocheted into squares...and not put it together. I think I finished it about 10 years ago.... very distinct coloring...blues and mauves....may have to wait until those colors come back in style.... if I live that long!
Look at you go Jane. Nicely done.
So glad that bag is almost finished!
