Stash Busting

While I had odd moments of time during the week, I have been cutting and piecing blocks using some batik fabrics from my stash.  I've had this fabric for years, so, in the spirit of using up all my scraps and old fabric, I thought, it was about time to get something done.

The blocks were fairly simple to do, and went together yesterday.  I now have to buy something suitable for the borders, backing and bindings, but at least progress has been made.

There are a few scraps leftover from the blocks.  I now have to decide if I will try and incorporate them into the backing, or maybe make them into something else.  I think I'll think on it a bit longer, there are other projects calling out to be done this week.
