An Important Flower

I like to have some stitching on the side that I can do when there isn't enough time to get out the sewing machine, or I need a break from it.  The An Important Flower has come back out and hopefully, I can get this finished before the end of the year.

The next couple of sections are divided into two parts which makes it easier to feel as if progress is being made.  The left side was completed yesterday and I have made a start on the right side.

Being one colour, it is quite relaxing to stich after a busy day, so lets hope progress to the end will be swift.

That's really going well. I agree that sometimes it is way easier after a long day to do monochrome stitching even though I usually prefer an explosion of color!

I'm always impressed with your ability to bring a blank canvas to life.

I also agree - with you and Annie - about stitching in one colour being more relaxing. This piece looks very complex though, even in one colour. It's going to be stunning; I'm looking forward to seeing the finished item!

Your work is so neat, if I stitched in one colour it would never be so tidy.

This looks really good - I love the colour - am very fond of single colour pieces they have such impact.
