It has taken a while, but the stitching for the honeysuckle cushion is complete. I think there was more stitching in the border than there was in the central panel.
Once the border was finished, it was back to the central panel to do the back stitching and french knots for the stamens. Fortunately, this didn't take long at all.
This is now ready to be finished into a cushion. I just have to decide on the fabric and then attempt mitred corners for the first time. For the first time, I have gone through the whole of this magazine and done all the projects I will from it. I've certainly got my moneys worth from it and it means one less in my library.

It's beautiful. Enjoy your well deserved HD. :0)
Lovely piece. I've never done mitred corners on a pillow. Can't wait to see how it turns out. If you discover any useful tips for doing this, please share them.
Your honeysuckle is beautiful! Well done! Mitred corners aren't that bad, as I remember. Been a long time since I did any though! LOL
Wow...lovely, really beautiful.
Well done you!
The colors are beautiful. Don't you love when you can make more than one item from a book or magazine?
What a gorgeous cross stitch. I've done a lot of cross stitch, but never saw a pattern with a border like that! At first glance I thought it was framed in fabric...just beautiful!
Great HD that's a beautiful cushion, the border looks amazing :)
It looks so beautiful! I am impressed with the frame around!
Gorgeous! I would hate anyone to lean against this cushion! And eight projects from one magazine is pretty good going! I think the most I have marked in one mag. is about six...not that I'll ever do them, but I can dream, lol!
Hello Jane, The Honeysuckle Project is glorious. I loved the colors my very favorite. It would of taken me a life time to stitch it. You are a very talented lady. Hugs Judy
beautiful Jane, really beautiful. I hope you are well! x
