The technical problem being, that I ran out of the blue! It would have been all finished otherwise. I did as much as the cross stitch and back stitch I could, so it will only take a few minutes to complete when I buy some more thread. I should be able to buy some on Wednesday and get this stitched at the weekend when the boys are out.
I decided to add the dates that Concorde was flying too as a reminder to J. She was certainly a spectacular plane to see flying and to be able to be that close when she retired is something the boys will never forget.
Once I had finished this, I got on with some more of J's jumper. It is amazing how much back there is to knit. Now why do they have to grow!
I have to go and pick the boys up today, so I don't think there will be a lot of stitching going on. If I do anything, it will have to be something small as I won't want to do anything complicated after travelling all day.

It is frustrating when that happens. Your stitching looks lovely. DS stopped growing at 6 foot something. He used to pat me on the head and call me his little mum. lol
We used to go and see a retired Concord regularly at Duxford museum. I am so not showing my ds this page of your blg...after the jag I do not want to do anything remotley boyish for a while lol
Lovely memento. :0)
Glad to see production has resumed at your home factory!
Nice stitching and I'm going to have fun watching photos of your RR.
That was fast! I like your rendition of the Concorde.
Lovely idea, you have stitched that quickly.
Wow! This palne is so cool! Your stitching is so pretty! Hope you will get the right thread very soon!
I hate it when I run out of what I need right at the very end! It looks great though. And if you do come up with the solution to ever-growing children (the socks just keep getting bigger), let me know!
Oh no Xander has seen it ;( He recognised the tail.
Itt is Ok though...I put him off ol
That is going to be a lovely keepsake! Your stitching looks great.
