Clarice Cliffe Progress

I managed to stitch yesterday, with something other than white. It is now easier to see what has been stitched. The wonderful thing about these designs are the large blocks of colour, the drawback, all the half cross stitches.

The back of my top is now complete and I have made a start on the front. As there are no sleeves for this one, I am hoping to get this finished before the end of the week.

The boys are away this weekend. They go Friday and come back Tuesday which gives me three complete days to myself. I think I am going to have my very own stitching fest! There are lots of projects for me to complete and the opportunity to get it done without interruption is too good to miss.

I look forward to seeing this complete - Clarice Cliffe was a marvellous artist. I have a plate of hers that might just have to become inspiration. Enjoy the stitchfest.
