This was such a quick one to knit, a ladies hat. The true colour is somewhere between the two. For some reason, my camera doesn't like purple, it makes it too blue, but with a white background, it makes it too pink.
This is the first item in a set, wrist warmers are next

It looks nice. The problem with pictures of purple items is familiar to me and unfortunately I do not know how to solve the problem.
That's very pretty! I've had the same problem photographing purple...it always seems to come out blue! LOL
Love the hat but that is something I never wear. You do a great job of all your projects.
Super-cute hat. My camera does the same thing. From the other comments, this appears to be a common problem. There must be a solution out there somewhere!
Cute hats! Add my name to the growing list of bloggers here whose cameras turn purple to blue!
I'm off to 'google' the problem, and if I get any solutions, I'll be back ;-)
Well! Did I find some answers - several hundred in fact! If you are interested, this is one of the best explanations that I found, explaining that cameras are just as not as good as the human eye when it comes to colours.

It's lovely!!
You are going o be nice and cosy this winter once everything is finished.
I always have to tweak purples in Photoshop to get them right.
I have a hard time photographing purple, too. The hat is beautiful!
