Friday Night Sew In

It's been a rather stressful week here, which included a three hour visit to the dental hospital on Wednesday afternoon.  I have an extreme fear of dentists, but as I was in so much pain, I couldn't avoid a visit and after one tooth extraction, I am feeling much better.  It did mean that I've had about two or three days this week when I haven't felt up to doing anything creative.

Last night was Friday Night Sew In, and as I didn't fancy sewing,  I did some crochet instead.  I managed to finish one of four baby blankets I'm doing.

It just needs a wash and a block and it will be ready to go.

Depending on how much time I get after taking DS2 to his exhibition, I may get another one finished later today

I do not like going to the dentist too, but when you are really in pain and you feel much better afterwards it was worth the visit.

I'm so sorry to hear about the dentist visit - I really dislike (and therefore avoid when at all possible) the dentist myself, so I know how that goes! The blanket is lovely, and I hope this next week is more peaceful for you.

I had all my upper teeth removed and replaced with a full denture, when I was about 20, so I rarely have to go to a dentist now - phew! The blanket is exquisite - I love the rainbow colour effect.

Jane, I hope you are feeling better now. I have had my share this past year of the teeth pain and I can certainly empathize with you over it. I hate going to the dentists but I hate hurting worse. I hopt your feel better quickly. Your crocheted blanket is lovely. The soft colors are sweet. Get some rest and gear up for the next FNSI on the 17th! Merry Christmas.
