Couple of Finishes

I've managed to get a couple of things finished over the last couple of days.  The first is another pyjama case.  This one is bigger than the one I did before.  I still haven't used up all of this fabric, so I will have to try and think of something else to make.

I've also finished the table runner and place mats.
I've started making another set of place mats, but need to go shopping to get some more batting.  I seemed to have used quite a bit recently and my stocks are running low.

Really like your runner and mats. Be careful on that shopping trip for more batting, I went today in need of one ball of wool, came back with 2 balls, some ribbon and some fabric. Craft shopping is dangerous ;-)

Nice pieces. You are working so quickly these days, you are probably buying out the batting inventory at your local shop!

The table set is very elegant, Jane. I do love things that aren't fussy. Funny coming from a person who loves fancy work and crinoline ladies!
Do people still use pyjama cases? I haven't heard of them for years. I've got a couple of hand embroidered cases that must be nearly 100 years old. But I used to have a case for my jarmies when I was a kid (60 years ago) so maybe they are still in use for kids.

your table runner and place mats are gorgeous well done! The p.j. case is nice, how does it work, is there a zipper on the side or the back side?

Thank you so much for the wonderful well wishes post. I am glad I have blogs like yours to read while I lay here!
