Whilst happily browsing blogs on Sunday, there came a smell of burning, electrical burning. To my dismay, it was coming from the laptop. Unfortunately, it was terminal. However, a new tower for the desktop has come today and we are back online.
It was a pleasant hour or two catching up with lots of blogs this afternoon. All being well, I shall be back to posting tomorrow.
If I have missed replying to comments, please forgive me. I will try and make up for it in the days to come.

Glad the problem is fixed. With you, I expect to hear about burning knitting needles, not computers!
Ouch! I hope not much data was lost.
Oh dear. I hope that you hadn't got it on your lap! A good job you were with it though so that it didn't get chance to catch fire.

Good Day Jane, Yes, I know all about computer woes. I've had way to many lately but it was not because of my computer it was our server Verizon. very sad face. Glad you are back it is certainly sad to not be able to communicate with your friends. hugs Judy
