Tudor Bedspread-2

I reached my target, and  completed the central panel Wednesday.  I then went on to the next section.  The border is all completed and the motifs are in place. I am now onto filling the background on this section and would like to do that by Saturday.

DS2 came in yesterday and has decided he liked this.  He even went as far as asking for me to do one for his bed.  I think you can guess my reply!

I can quite see why he would love a bedspread like this. It gets better and better and I thought I fell in love with part 1.

Well done! I'm sure you told him you'd make him two of them! LOL

You've really done a lot of work on this. I love he design of the latest band. Happy background stitching! I think not having to fill in in backgrounds was the reason I switched from needlepoint on canvas to cross stitch on fabric years ago!

This is so lovely. I guess that he will have to shrink a bit before you undertake a bedspread like this for your son.

It's really pretty. Lucky for you it's on such a small scale, because that looks like a lot of work.

I would want one for my bed, too, but I can't imagine stitching something that big and intricate! I think I'll admire the beauty of this little one :)
