Another waistcoat is off the needles. I am hoping that I can find some buttons when I go into town today, so these can be finished and worn.
Both were knitted using James C Brett Marble Chunky. I like the effect this yarn gives, and am hoping that, if I can find one dark enough, I can persuade DS1 to have a jumper in something other than black. Being chunky, it knits up fast so shouldn't take long to do one in his size.
Over the last couple of weeks, I have stocked up on some quilting accesseries. I now have a ruler for cutting squares, one for triangles, and a 1/4" foot, so am hoping that I can attempt a BOM. You will be the first to know if it was successful, or not, as the case may be.

Good Dday Jane, I am catching up again. I see your lovely clown quilt is done. Very well done. I am sure the boys will like it. Your shimmering pink sweater is also very pretty. And of course your newest sweater is super. I love the colors of this one. Take care Hugs Judy
Lovely waistcoat! Hope you will find the right buttons! :)
Marble Chunky is fab ... pills a bit, but it can't be beaten for the price.
They do a black/grey one ... ;o)
Loving that knitting...the colors are gorgeous. I am almost ready to attempt a pair of socks.... it has been on my bucket list forever. Can't wait to see what you make for the quilt!!!
