I printed of a free pattern from http://blog.theflossbox.com/?page_id=289 and started it yesterday after tea.
I have used some pale blue 14count aida I had in my stash and using Anchor 873. I am going to do the same design front and back. I will hopefully stitch the second side today and make it up. It will be interesting to see if it ends up looking as it should.
I was hoping to have a full day crafting today, but there is a small matter of ironing and baking to be tackled first. D has also requested a haircut. I think I had better do that too before he can't see through the mane.

let me know how hard/easy it is to make I have wanted to make one but never got around to it.
That's a very pretty design. I've onlyd done a couple of them but really enjoy them. Good luck, hope it turns out the way you want.
I LOVE biscornus and am in the process of some myself. This will be very lovely when complete.
That's a pretty design. I'm sure you will have no trouble stitching up the biscornu.
And I'm blaming you for the irresistible urge I had to knit! You are just too inspiring. Check my blog to see my first knit mini-item in 2 years.
go with the haircut and the baking if you must but the ironing??? I can't tell you, I'm a lady!
Your eyes must be better to tackle this. It looks so complicated.
Very nice pattern, Jane! Can't wait to see finished project!
You either love em or hate them..a bit like marmite. I have made one...was very pleased with it...and then wondered what on earth to do with it.
I hope you enjoy yours ((hugs))
Gaynor - you use them as pinkeeps. I think your biscornu is going to look really lovely and they are a lot easier to make than you might think. There is a great website that shows you exactly how to make them and it is this one http://www.prettyimpressivestuff.com/biscornu.htm there are more websites including loads of French ones explaining how but then again they are written in French which I, regretfully, do not understand. Hope this helps. Lots of Love Patti xxx
Pretty design & colours. Don't worry - they are way easier to make than they look. :0)
These always look lovely, but I've never tried one. Looking forward to seeing yours. Thanks for the pattern.
this is a gorgeous pattern. thanks for sharing the link to the patterns. i just looked on the site and there are some goregous patterns on there. i can't wait to see yours finished
tytyty! I find them most addictive...and even when I do daft things like stitch them inside out they magically seem to work still! Just not quite as pointy.
