The first pair

These are so easy to knit, although you end up with lots of pieces to put together, which can be quite fiddly.
There three different styles to choose from, this is the long legged fisherman's rib.

I just love that the legs are lined.

I'm going to try the other two styles, then I'll decide which of them I'd prefer in the adult size.  This is going to be fun.

If anyone else wants to join in the fun, the pattern is King Cole 3275 double knit.  Sizes go from 1-2years to adult.

At Last, a knitting finish

This one has taken quite a little while to finish.  The pattern was easy to do, but being four ply, it took time to grow.
It was made quicker by having a slash neck, the ribbing was done as part of the front and back pieces, so the sewing up part was quicker.
It's quite a pretty blue, grey colour.  The yarn is Wendy Mode 4 ply, 50% pure merino wool, 50% fine acrylic, so was lovely and soft to knit with.

There is another project waiting for a finish in my knitting back, I just need to do some sleeves, maybe that will see the light of day before the end of the month.

And we have gloves

I thought gloves were more practical, so after the mitts, I started on some gloves.
This is the first time I've ever made gloves, and although, it's a bit more fiddly, it wasn't that hard at all.  Having survived one pair, I think I might look out the ones my mum started, but never finished.  I know they're in a bag somewhere upstairs, I just have to find where.
