Baby Knits

I had to go to plan B with my other knitting, but in the meantime, I thought baby items were quick and satisfying to do.  Added to that, there are babies on the way, and as we don't know the sex yet, we might as well prepare early.
This sleeveless hoodie is knitted in 100% 4 ply cotton, and in the size for a three month old, it was quick to knit.

In due time, to accompany this jumper, will be a "panda".  Hopefully, it won't take too long to knit.  So far the legs have been done, and the arms are in progress.

At Last, a knitting finish

This one has taken quite a little while to finish.  The pattern was easy to do, but being four ply, it took time to grow.
It was made quicker by having a slash neck, the ribbing was done as part of the front and back pieces, so the sewing up part was quicker.
It's quite a pretty blue, grey colour.  The yarn is Wendy Mode 4 ply, 50% pure merino wool, 50% fine acrylic, so was lovely and soft to knit with.

There is another project waiting for a finish in my knitting back, I just need to do some sleeves, maybe that will see the light of day before the end of the month.
