Second Time Around

I was looking forward to a simple installment this time round on the hardanger SAL.  I started happily enough, but then spotted a problem.
All but one group of eyelets had been stitched in the wrong place.  It was so obvious, I can't believe I missed it the first time.

Instead of starting to stitch, I had to undo all those tiny eyelets and then restitch them.  NOW they're done properly, and I can go on to do the next border.

It is so frustrating when that happens. The colours are very pretty and your stitching is lovely.

Oh Jane, how frustrating! But it is a beautiful work of art, so I guess it was worth persisting in getting it right.

I think this is absolutely beautiful. It must have been so frustrating for you to have to unpick and redo some of it but I know from past experience that if had left it, you would have been forever looking at it and wishing you had gone back and fixed it!
Congratulations on the granny squares too. You are really marching on with that project.

I rather suspect that if that had been me I would have spoken to it in a most unladylike fashion and consigned it to a corner for all eternity. I'm glad you didn't because this is just so lovely.
