A Funny Sort of Week

It's been a funny sort of week, I was out most of two days, and then the days I was in, I just didn't feel motivated to do anything,  Needles of every description failed to inspire me.  All I could put it down to, was being physically tired.

In between the comings and goings, I did sort out some old magazines.  Over the next couple of months, I shall be listing some of them on the destashing page of my blog.  Just click on it, and if there is anything that catches you eye, please let me know.  I shall be added books, kits, and supplies over the coming weeks, so keep checking back.

My sewing table was in need of a tidy, so I did get to the machine for a bit over a couple of days, I used up all my strips and have another five crumb blocks to add to my collection.  This is definitely a project with no end, the crumbs just keep coming.

When there are enough blocks, I shall put them together in a quilt, but I think I need a few more.

I am hoping for a more productive week this week, I don't like feeling as if I don't want to do anything, especially, when there are lots of projects deep down inside I want to do.

It is frustrating when the mind is willing but the body is knackered...I am a bit like that myself at the mo. Considering you craft away like a demon on speed I think you deserve a few days off to chill rofl. Gives the rest of us a chance to catch up lol. Looking forwards to seeing what you come back with when your batteries are vavavoomed lol xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Get some rest and feel better soon.

At least you got some crumb blocks made! That's better than nothing! Hopefully this coming week will be better for you! :0)

I get like that sometimes. I don't know what causes it and if I did, I would get rid of it! Get some rest, it will pass and you'll feel better too. I know sometimes it's when I'm feeling overwhelmed and what helps me is to just pick a project and work on it. Alot of times I don't even want to do that but it does work....

Your crumb blocks look great. I'm going to start doing crumbs too. I have a few blocks that weren't supposed to be crumbs but look like it, LOL! Anyway, I'll throw those into a crumb quilt and maybe no one will be the wiser. Hugs!

Sorry you are feeling so tired. Make sure that you get some well deserved rest. Plenty of time for creating when you are feeling up to it.

I'm blaming the weather. But sometimes it's good to just step back and let it all work it's way to the surface. I have no doubt your mojo will be back with a vengeance.

Be kind to yourself.

I think most of us get like that sometimes with our crafts; we just burn ourselves out with so many projects. Sometimes we just need to take a break from them. The Craft Police won't be knocking on your door, so feel free to veg out with a good book or have a snooze on the couch now and then :-)
Your Destashing page is a great idea. I've seen similar things on other blogs, and keep meaning to set up one on my blog, as goodness only know I have too much STUFF!
