In Miniature

Try as I might, I just can't get to the end of the purple wool.  After knitting a complete adult set, I've now started on a little child's set.  This is for approx age four and up
Here is the hat, and yes, there is still more.  This was definitely a good sale buy!

Pretty in Purple

This was such a quick one to knit, a ladies hat.  The true colour is somewhere between the two.  For some reason, my camera doesn't like purple, it makes it too blue, but with a white background, it makes it too pink.
This is the first item in a set, wrist warmers are next

It gets done-eventually

This is a project that has been hanging around for some time.  It was a quick knit, but halfway through doing the top, I ran out of yarn.  I eventually bought some more, but then had to wait for the opportunity to finish it when the recipient wasn't going to be breathing down my neck.
It was fun to make the tassels and the twisted cord for the ties.  Hopefully, they won't be dropping off any time soon.

This is so soft and warm, knitted using Rowan Cocoon, a merino wool and kid mohair mix. With the colder mornings we are getting, I don't think it will be long before this will be needed to keep a little man warm on his paper round.

Is it Winter Yet?

Anyone would be mistaken for thinking that winter was upon us with me knitting socks, especially when I used the last ball to knit a hat!
This is a girl's sized hat, so didn't take too long, or a lot of wool to knit.  If I can still get the wool in the sale, I may buy some more to do a complete set.  On the pattern, there are socks, hat, mittens and wrist warmers.  Fortunately, we don't have very high temperatures here at the moment, so this isn't too uncomfortable to do.
