Needles of a Different Kind

As I'm waiting for the outlining thread to continue with the sampler, I've exchanged the tapestry needle for knitting needles.  Jonathan put in  a request for some gloves and mittens for the cold mornings on his paper round.  Before I started, I finally got buttons put onto a cardigan I finished a couple of weeks ago.
It's knitted in 100% organic cotton, which was very reasonably priced.  It has a shaped body, three quarter length sleeves and uses different stitches to create texture.
This made for a very interesting time whilst knitting, there was never any time to get bored with one stitch before moving onto another.
Now, back to the boys favourite colour, black!

Something a little Different

Some evenings, I've managed to do a little knitting to give my fingers and brain a little rest, and slowly but surely, a jumper has appeared.
I got this one sewn up at the weekend and then blocked it,
This was knitted using 100% organic cotton, and has three quarter length sleeves, perfect for this time of year, when there is a chill, but it's not cold.

Not sure, what else is on the list of things to do this week, but I know there are a few things waiting to be finished, and supplies for new projects to buy.
