Part 7 and 8-In Full Bloom

Part 7 and 8 are now complete.  The stitching is appliqued onto the background fabric and the broken dishes blocks have been made.

The stitching on the next section has been started, but my fabric has arrived to finish my house quilt, so I think that will be next.

In Full Bloom-Parts 5 and 6

Another month's installment is now complete. 

The stitcheries appliqued onto their blocks,

and the broken dishes blocks both made.  Three more packets to do.

Now all the stitched pieces are up to date, it was time to catch up on cutting the fabric and making a start on making the blocks.

First, all the fabric was cut,

Then the stitched pieces were trimmed, tacked and appliqued onto the background blocks.

Lastly, the Broken Dishes Blocks were made up.  More of these will be done each month, as long as I keep up, that is.
