I finally decided to substitute the yarn for the pattern I chose for the KAL over at Sticks on Fire. It would have been to long to wait for the required yarn to be shipped over as it was back ordered.
I very happily brought the wool home and couldn't wait to see what it looked like knitted up. I got out the pattern and found it was knitted using circular needles and I didn't have a single one in the correct size. This meant I had to go back to town to get these.
Somehow, this jumped into the bag at the same time. At 50p a ball, I could hardly resist. As you all know, I don't really have enough to do. I'll just add it to the box.

Lucky you! Which pattern are you knitting?
ReplyDeleteI leave for my trip in an hour, but I'll try to update my post if there is time.
ROFL...good idea to just add it to the box! I understand why you bought it though! It's fabulous! :0)
ReplyDeleteAh, yes. There are times when the yarn decides to be purchased and there's nothing to be done about it! That's a fun color, and it will brighten a winter day at some point, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteVery nice choice of the yarn! I think you will create something amazing with it!
ReplyDeleteNice wool :p
ReplyDeleteThat happens all the time when I go shopping - must have some kind of magnetic force that makes it happen. ;0) LOL Two lovely lots of wool. Look forward to seeing your KAL piece develop. :0)
ReplyDeleteI know the wool leapt off the shelf into your hand, cottons, books and fabric often do that with me too, lol!!! Lovely colour though.
