Borders

The borders and rows have been added, and now the top is completed.
I need to shop for fabric for the backing, as I don't have enough of anything here.  I shall then do a dark binding to finish it off.  I quite like the colour in this one, even though it's not something I would normally choose to do.  Terry has almost finished hers, so I'm looking forward to seeing it once she has it posted on her blog.

The borders are absolutely perfect for it, aren't they? They really finish it off. It's a pain when you don't have enough of something to finish it off.

Those are the cheeriest colors! I just finished a little mini-quilt with cross-stitching and for the life of me, I can't get the simple fabric borders the same size, and perfectly rectangular. Then I look at your quilt and see how perfectly it's pieced. I am so jealous!

This is so beautifully constructed and the colours are fabulous. It's good to travel outside our comfort zone sometimes and this is the evidence.
