Blood, Sweat and Tears

Literally, lol.  Rotary cutters are also good for taking slices from the corner of fingers, but despite the setback, another block was pieced.  This is the second of March's blocks from Amy's block of the month.
Definitely not perfect, but in the circumstances, it will do.  The small triangles are joined the wrong way round, but as the mistake was the same on all of them, it's staying.
Knitting has had to take a back seat due to the finger, but I am hoping today, I can find something I can do without too much inconvenience.

Hope the finger is healing well. The block looks great and appears to be just as you meant it to.

Oh no! I don't have a rotary cutter, but was thinking of getting one. Now I'm not so sure. Hopefully the wound will heal quickly.

And I like the accidental (pun intended) design of the block!

Oh Jane - OUCH! For goodness sake, be careful!! I should talk...I was grating carrot the other night and grated some skin off a knuckle. And a week before, I was chopping up apple for our possums, and the knife slipped and cut through my thumbnail into the flesh. At the top of the thumb, fortunately.

One must surely be cautious with the rotary cutter, but I couldn't live without mine! But then I am a quilter and a needleworker. So. Your block will be a happy mistake in the scheme of things...this is how great things are discovered!

Ouch. Looks painful, but I love the block.

Okay....we need to look at the positive here....

You have created a new block
therefore you have the right to name it....

"the Slicer"?
"Cutter Cross"?
"Star Crossed Cuts"?
"Slice of Life"?

;0)
