A request came in for some mitts to help keep the hands warm on a Saturday morning whilst pulling the trolley on the paper round. Of course, there was only one colour allowed, and that was black!
I don't mind using black, but it does make it difficult to see where the shaping stitches are. Even so, these didn't take long at all to knit. Now it's onto some gloves, as I think they'll be more practical.
Those are great looking mitts and will be greatly appreciated, too, I'm sure!

ReplyDeleteBlack can be hard to see, but if the lighting is good, all will be fine. I'm knitting mitts for Sara in black silk sock weight yarn. The going is slow.
