This is the first week the Green Rainbow Scrap challenge, and so far I have come up with eight of these blocks. As I had been having so much fun with the barn door blocks, I thought I'd carry on. Unfortunately, I didn't have enough of these greens to make as many blocks as I would have wanted. However, I have some other greens, so when I get the next opportunity, I'll try and make up some more blocks. Hopefully, they'll give me enough for a quilt top, otherwise the thinking cap will have to come out.
Today, I need to work on something completely different, a wedding invitation sample!

I have some of that Tiger fabric in my stash :)
ReplyDeleteThese blocks are going to make a wonderful quilt! Love the churn dash block, it's one of the very few blocks I've made more than once, LOL... Love your tiger fabric :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit and lovely comments on my apple pies and tarts :) Elly up in Scotland ;)
I love how you've done this block.
ReplyDeleteI really like this block. Love the tigers!
ReplyDeleteNice blocks! You're going to have a great quilt when you're all done! :0)
ReplyDeleteI love the tigers. Never in a million years would I have thought to use it but it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice way to showcase a fun fabric. I am sure you will find some fabric that will work when you start to run out. Sometimes the best design decisions are out of necessity.
ReplyDeleteVery cool jungle block.
ReplyDeleteA wedding invitation sounds interesting. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with.
Love the focus fabric. Maybe they would mix in with another color you didn't have a lot of, like brown?
ReplyDeleteOh, I wish I had those tigers ... the green is purr-fect!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blocks and love that tiger fabric! Browns would coordinate very well. Good luck!
