Tissue Holders

At the beginning of the month, I was looking for ideas for using up my red scraps and found this tissue holder tutorial.  I had this in mind when cutting some of the scrappy blocks I made last week.

Some of the red scraps ended up in the squares, and I've used more for the linings.  I tried both methods, edges meeting in the middle and overlapping, and I think I prefer the overlapped ones.  I need to buy some packets of tissues now to put in them.

    These are great for taking on the go. I like having one in my purse. Good idea for the scrappy project. I may make some in the next month.

    The threat to replace my 10 year old computer seems to have spurred it into a second coming, as all of a sudden, I am able to whiz through your blog and catch up with everything I've been missing for the last few months! Jane, did you ever think of having your blog published in book form? Blogger.com can do it, and one day I'd like to publish mine. But I wish I could print off your blog - you are a continuous resource of ideas, and I wish I had a printed record of all of them for easy reference! Loving all your projects in the Rainbow challenge, now that I've discovered what that is!
