Many, many years ago, I acquired a book, Martin Leman's Needlepoint Cats. When it was fairly new I did a couple of the projects from it and then put the book away. A couple of months ago, I was sorting out my books and decided I would do a few more.
Doing the projects from it has got a little more interesting now. The colour numbers have changed, so before I can start, I have to find out what they are. Now I have found where to look (that's if I remembered to bookmark the place), it shouldn't take so long setting up for the next project.
Red looks cozy and should make a wonderful cushion to cuddle with.
ReplyDeleteRed looks perfect for a cushion. That brings up past memories of blocking needlepoint projects. Haven't done that for years... I think it's one of the reasons I prefer x-stitch.. just a steam iron press to make it right.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful cat! It will make a lovely cushion! Love how his whiskers stick out! :0)
ReplyDeletevery cuddly!! Hubby is getting there, thanks for the good wishes.
ReplyDeleteHe looks just like my daughter's cat, Bentley. Adorable.
ReplyDeleteI love him, very cute!!
ReplyDeleteThe only needlepoint I remember was for dinning room chairs and piano seats. I like red lots better.
ReplyDeleteVery contented expression. Well Done Horray for Jane
Oh he is just glorious. You can almost hear him purr.
ReplyDeleteI have never done needlepoint but this is so cute! It's fun to finish, huh? I know it will be a cute cushion.
ReplyDeleteI like your cat very much, it will become a nice cushion!
